The 4th of July...

Ah, July 4th, the day that a bunch of British asses were kicked...

Well, to tell the truth, I appreciate the soldiers, both of that time and of the current time. However, I don't believe that this country has become what the founding fathers would consider "free". Especially considering that most of them were Freemasons. If you don't know what that is, look it up. Don't be lazy.

So yeah, due to our failing economy and corrupt "big brother", I am not exactly patriotic in the sense that I feel like waving a freaking flag and singing "My country Tis of The". I will however say this. Most of the people in this country are not corrupt. In fact, many of them are trying to fight the government, only to be stopped and or neglected. This is bull crap.

I swear to God, when I took my art class, my friend ~TrueAnime and I were waiting at a train station and on a nearby pole, we saw a little red sticker that said, quote on quote, "You are being watched my surveillance cameras because you are a potential criminal." Really? We're the criminals? We're the ones raising gas prices and not increasing wages to make up for it? We're the ones that are causing thousands of homes to go into foreclosure, making people like me without a home to go to as of yet? We're the ones who tap phone lines, internet pages, (gee, I hope Uncle Sam Doesn't read this...) and even homes if we feel like it? Yeah, we're the criminals.

The thing is, this country is no longer "We the People". It's "We the corrupt bastards who control the poor working people so they end up with nothing and the rich only get richer." I guess that's to much of a mouth full for the constitution...

I used to be the most patriotic person out there. You couldn't say ONE bad thing about America or I would jump your shit. Then I became educated, and lost my naivety. This country is going down hill fast, and if something isn't done about it, there's going to be another revolution, and nobody wants that. Why fight each other if it can all be solved by the government listening? So get out there, sign those petitions, carry those signs, and fight the power!

And don't dare call me a hippy. I'm an activist.

As far as I'm concerned George W. Bush ruined this country. Obama really needs to step up to the plate if he really has any intention to help. And hopefully, he does.

So yeah, happy 4th, considering you can't really call it Independence Day. So, go out there, have a BBQ, play with fireworks, and celebrate the home of the brave and somewhat kinda free.
